Frank Agsteribbe launched in 2019 a recording at Etcetera of Flemish Requiem - Vlaams Requiem. The Lux Aeterna is a part from Bréhy's Requiem Mass that you will find in its entirety.

In 2016 Stijn Dierckx composed the suite Phenomenae Naturae for SATB and piano, where five natural phenomena are portrayed through texts of British and American authors. Luce Prima was written as an addition to and the beginning of Phenomenae Naturae. It portrays the sunrise and nature’s awakening.

With Lorem ipsum, Stijn Dierckx won the second edition (2023) of the Vic Nees Composition Competition in the category music schools. The jury fell for the beautiful harmonies and the humor of the composer who, with Lorem ipsum, sets fake Latin - dummy text for graphic design to show the visual form of a document without any meaningful text - to music.

Paul Schollaert turned 80 in 2020. He wrote Lied aan de Zee from the Ensorcantata in July 1984 on the occasion of the annual music week in Ronse with the Ostend choirs Muzeschuit (children's choir), Camerata Ostendia (like-minded women's choir) and Ter Duinenkantorij (mixed choir of mainly parents of the children and young people from the two other groups).

Let down the bars, O Death! is a sensitive composition. The work reflects the sad atmosphere of the text by Emily Dickinson (1830 - 1886). It is a short, expressive and rather easy work that will appeal to many mixed choirs. In the compilation Songs and Song Cycles for mixed Choir a cappella on English and American poetry, published by Musikproduktion Höflich in Munich in 2013 you will find many other beautiful work by Coryn.

With Le Secret, José Retra won the second edition of the Vic Nees Composition Competition in the conservatory category. Retra is a music pedagogue and since 2021 a composition student at LUCA, School of Arts Campus Leuven with Pieter Schuermans, Jeroen D'hoe & Maarten Van Ingelgem.

Laudate Dominum by Sebastiaan van Steenberge is a challenge for an amateur choir and a refreshing liturgical work.

In this work, the text invites the listeners to praise God: Laudate Dominum. De Monte puts on a double choir that provides joy and festivity through the driving alternation.

Maarten Van Ingelgem (°1976) took his inspiration from the African Lamtietie Damtietie. The author of the text, Cornelis Jacob Langenhoven (1873-1932), is regarded as one of Africa’s best-known writers and, as a member of parliament, campaigned tirelessly for Afrikaans to be an official language in South Africa. The poetic text was expressed in an evocative contemporary lullaby for a children's, youth or women's choir that is not intimidated by chants and whistles.
