Agnus dei

This Agnus dei is part of the Missa Brevis, which belongs to the multimedia production Revelations, taking as its starting point the impressive visions of the 13th-century poet and mystic Hadewijch d'Anvers (sd-1248). Her testimonies are among the most amazing texts in our literary history. In the tradition of medieval Christian mysticism, Hadewijch describes in her Visions an ecstatic love affair with the divine Other, with passion as a keyword.

The Missa Brevis has 5 parts: Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, Agnus Dei and Halleluja. The complete score was published by Norsk Musikforlag. There are also versions for male and female choir, always with optional electronics.
